جمیزبلانت، سومین آلبوم خود را در اوایل ماه نوامبر، با نام Some Kind of Trouble منتشر می کند.
جمیز هیلر بلانت (James Hillier Blount)، متولد 22 فوریه 1974 تیلدشایر بریتانیاست. بلانت در خانواده ای با پیشینه نظامی متولد شد و با تشویق پدرش در 16 سالگی گواهی پرواز دریافت کرد. در 1999 به عنوان نیروهای ناتو در کوزوو خدمت کرد و در آنجا به همکاری با سازمان پزشکان بدون مرز پرداخت. پس از شش سال خدمت در ارتش بریتانیا، در سال 2002 از ارتش جدا شد و به کار موسیقی پرداخت و در سال 2003 آلبوم Back to Bedlam را منتشر کرد که دو ترانه You're beautiful و Goodbye my lover از این آلبوم برایش شهرت فراوانی به ارمغان آورد و او را در پنج رشته نامزد جایزه گرمی کرد. در سال 2006 بلانت دومین آلبوم خود، با نام All The Lost Souls را منتشر کرد؛ با وجود اینکه منتقدان از این آلبوم مانند آلبوم اول استقبال نکردند، اما همچنان تا هفته ها در فهرست پرفروش ترین ها باقی ماند. سبک بلانت ترکیبی از پاپ-راک، فولک-راک و سافت-راک است.
سومین آلبوم بلانت با نام Some Kind of Trouble، ظاهرا شامل 13 ترک است و تاکنون اولین ترک آن با نام Stay the Night به صورت محدود منتشر شده است. این ترانه بر خلاف بیشتر اجراهای بلانت که تمی غمگین دارند، بسیار شاد است و موزیک-ویدئویی سرشار از رنگ های شاد و انرژی بخش دارد.
